"First person I met."

"You mean, after the Arch-Mage and Knight-Commander?"

"Yeah..."

Logan nods "Well, that explains a lot."

Myra looks back at him.

Logan sighs "Nevermind. Shall we begin our practice?"

"I... Think so."

Logan draws his sword "Excellent. Ready when you are."

"I returned my blade."

He draws the short sword from the other sheathe "That's right." He tosses the blade over to her. "Now, shall we begin?"

She catches the handle, and steps back.

He takes another step back "I'll wait for you to get situated."

"Can you teach me some non-dangerous magic?" She asks, creating a weak sphere of fire in her hands.

"I could teach you some environment-altering and defensive magic if that's what you're asking."

"What about things that can help myself and others?"

Logan sighs "Now that, I'm not sure if I can teach."

Myra looks down. "So, I'll need more than just one teacher..."

Logan shrugs "I guess that's true. I can teach you do defend yourself, but I can't teach you much else."

Myra dispels the flames before she loses control over them.

Logan slightly lowers his blade "Are you still up for a fight? Or do you want to go teacher-hunting?"

"I don't know... What do you suggest?"

Logan thinks for a minute before speaking "I'd suggest that first you let me teach you a couple defensive spells, then you go look for a new teacher."

"Okay."

Logan smiles "Alright, first I'll show you how to create a couple different walls...They expend energy for as long as you keep them up, but the extra protection is definitely worth it in a flash if you really need it." He flashes his hands around and three walls appear, in the respective order of fire, then earth, then air, in a triangle around him. "A recommendation, try and keep the air and fire away from each other, the oxygen tends to catch fire easier when concentrated like this, which results in a huge blast of fire. Also keep in mind the potential of that as a defensive and offensive move, as a simple spark in a bubble of air could cause a larger blast than a simple fireball, and surrounding the bubble with earth could cause an even larger blast while also producing some shrapnel to injure your enemies."
