Myra attempts to side-hop clockwise around him, in attempt to use a lunge at him on his left side.

Logan simply slides to his left to move out of her reach and using his greater reach (both by arm-length and blade-length) slash at her while he does. "That won't work, you need to try to get inside my guard not around it."

Myra changes direction, and jumps upward toward him.

Logan slides toward and under her, attempting an upward stab at her as he passes under her.

Myra stabs the short sword by his chest.

Logan adjusts his strike, moving so it deflects her blade sideways away from him.

Myra is unable to defend against further attack until she hits the ground.

Logan quickly stands up and turns around. Raising his hand and creating a field of wind within a vicinity of where she will land to keep her trapped there, perpetually floating for a short time.

Myra creates a minor ball of flame in her dominant hand, (the one not holding the sword,) and throws it toward Logan.

Logan sidesteps it, cutting the spell holding her and redirecting her flame around him back toward her.

Myra throws another fireball, and winces, feeling her hands burning.

The fireballs collide in air and give a weak detonation, Logan jumps through the smoke produced by the blast, attempting an overhead slash.

Myra closes her eyes, and tries to push him away by harnessing wind.

The wind slides him back a couple of inches, the blade slowing to a halt so the point rests just above her collarbone. Logan holds it there as he speaks "Good spellwork, you're learning to think on your feet."

The wind stops. Myra opens her eyes, and is unable to close her hands.

Logan pulls the blade away from her and sheaths it, holding down a hand for her to help her up "Maybe next time you'll win."

Myra holds out her sword-arm. Her palm is burnt red.

Logan reaches down and grabs her forearm, hauling her to her feet "It'll be okay, we'll just take you to the healers..."

"No... I'll be fine." She says.

"Are you sure? If you're burnt, then you should seek some sort of help."

"I'm burnt, but I'm completely able to take care of myself..."

Logan sighs "You don't have to do that. I'd rely on the healers if I were burnt, and I'm perfectly capable of taking care of myself as well."

"I'm fine, alright? Lets just continue training."

Logan shrugs "If you're sure...but let's try to avoid use of fire so you don't burn yourself further."

"Alright..." Myra winces, changing how she is holding her hands.
