Then, she starts to pull her face away.

** Caleb lets her **

"Thanks..." She says, "I really needed that."

** Caleb looks completely calm **
No problem, need anything else?

"Well... I don't think so."
((I am somewhat resenting them, bwcause they are a little boring for me, always being in one place ))

Are you sure?
(( Eh, maybe you could push a setting change? ))

((Oooor....))
She slowly nods.Then, she hears a loud crash outside.

** Caleb reacts reflexively and his blade flicks out, followed by a dagger from his belt, hidden by his clothes and he immediately starts to walk toward the door **

Ori follows closely behind.

** Caleb's eyes flash gold and he looks through the door and walls, looking for hazardous obstacles and people **

There are people crowded around a smoking hole in the ground.

** Caleb puts his dagger away and his blade returns to the inside of his bracer as he opens his door and goes outside **

Ori follows behind. As soon as she exits, she finds herself on the ground, then being held up in the air by her ears, in the hand of a man wearing a suit and tie.

** Caleb whips around and his blade flashes out, pointing at the well-dressed man **
Put her down, now.

The man holds a knife to her ears. "You want me to let her fall, I'll drop her." he says. "The ears are what I want anyway "

That blade gets any closer, I swear you won't get twenty feet before you've got a knife in your head.

"And the rabbit shall be dead."
Ori is in too much,pain to defens herself.

Not if I kill you before you have a chance to end her.
** Caleb's other hand reaches to his belt and produces a throwing knife, he holds it expertly in a throwing position **

The man quickly swings the knife through Ori's ears, causing her to loudly scream in pain. The man tries to tirn around and run away.

** Caleb reacts quickly, throwing the knife with immense force, practically planting it in the back of the man's head, at the spot where the spinal cord reaches the brain so not only is he dead, if he had lived he would be completely crippled for the remainder of his life **

Ori is attempting to stop the flow of blood out of her skull.

** Caleb runs over and grabs Ori's ears from the man and runs over to her **
Can you reattach your ears to your head?

Ori is unable to answer.

** Caleb sighs **
-- I need to find some way to put these back onto her...I could stitch them back onto her head, but It would take her a long time to heal, and she'd be deaf until they healed..--

The voice of a young girl speaks. "Will she be okay?" it asks.
