"But..." She says, "I want you to be happy..."

I know, but I don't want my happiness to be something that causes you any sort of discomfort or pain.

Leila looks sad.

* Leo turns back over to her *
Look, we both want each other to be happy, right? We need to figure this out soon or we're going to either end up bitter people, or we're going to end up killing each other with frustration and guilt. So how do you want to do this?

"I don't know..." She says

Well, let's try and think of something, that will help us figure it out....and whatever comes to mind, don't think on it past that, just say it.

"O-okay..." She says.

* Leo lays there, his eyes glazed over in deep thought *

Leila sighs. "To tell you the truth, I'm very afraid."

What are you afraid of?

She shakes her head. "I don't know... Sex... Friends..."

You shouldn't be afraid of either, the first is something you're supposed to enjoy with a partner you love. The second are there to help you, pick you up when something knocks you down, there is a lot of words to describe a good friend but if I tried to say them all, we'd be here for a month.

Leila turns away from Leo.

* Leo sighs and resigns to turning away from Leila again and thinking more *

"I just don't think I can do it..."

Well, if you think you can't, you may as well shoot for it anyways to see if you can.

"But what if I get pregnant?"

That will only happen if it's inside. I doubt that I'd let that happen to you unless you wanted it.

"And..." she says.

And?

"Sexual interaction..." She proceeds, "Disgusts me."

Well, how do you expect to have children of your own?

"I don't know..." She says, "I didn't think about it."

And now this out-of-left-field question is messing with your opinions on such acts?

"The sex thing...? Or the childeren thing?"
