Haven (RP)

** Leo gets a small part of his arms back under control, his control extending from his fingertips to his elbows**
-- Great... I have a little bit of my control back, but some use having MOST of my arms back aside from the important part will do...--

Leila finally moves away from him, toward her brown door. She finally speaks. "You are finally awake..."

** Leo has control of his mouth and the rest of his arms back **
**the first thing he does when he realizes he has control of these is groan in pain and hold his throat **
Eugh..why..did you...stab...me...?

Leila begins to choke on her shame. Her voice is as if she is fighting something back. "I get angry... When people insult my face."

** Leo groans again **
Well, you didn't have to STAB ME! I'd rather you just clubbed me in the back of the head while I wasn't looking! At least then I wouldn't have died, or come close to dying rather....

Leila closes her eyes, trying not to cry. "I didn't mean to...!"
This is why I hate having friends...

** Leo groans one more time before realizing that his groaning is causing more pain **
And...why did you save me instead of leaving me to die..?

Liela stares at the ground. "I didn't want to get arrested or anything..."

** Leo nods, realizing he's regained total control of his head **
Yeah, did you happen to see shadows on the rooftops after about, say 20 seconds....or perhaps encounter an indiviual wearing all-black...?

Leila nods. "And I defended you."

Defended me right..you're lying....you likely encountered one of my hunters, they didn't kill you so the pact is still on...which means that...
**Leo slowly draws one of his daggers out again**
you know about my bounty.....

She opens her eyes, not registering what is happening.

** Leo slowly and weakly raises the dagger towards her, wincing in pain **
and.....you're probably helping me.....so you can claim it.....yourself......or...so you can keep me here....and try to make more males to sell off....

She finally realizes what is happening. "I would never sell you!"

** Leo raises the dagger higher, keeping it level to her chest **
Right....so, that...suggests...the latter option.....not surprising...considering how...sick humans can be...sometimes.

Leila moves away from her door. "My plan is not, was not, and never will be, to make money off of anything that had to do with you... Now, get out before I kill you, then myself due to my self-loath." She opens her door, then reaches for a knife on the floor.

** Leo sighs and lowers his dagger, replacing it in it's sheathe in his sleeve **
** Leo tries to stand up and then drops onto his hands and chest as he realizes he still hasn't regained control of his legs **
Damn rigor mortis! My legs still haven't come back yet!

Leila shakes her head. "Rigor Mortus only happens when you are dead. You didn't die, so you just have a stiff..." She looks toward hin, trailing off. Am I being boring?

** Leo turns himself over and holds one of his legs, shaking it to reawaken the nerves **
Well, yeah, but I was technically "dead" I was unable to move and my brain had shut down. So rigor mortus was bound to take effect...so you basically revived me from the dead. in some strange way.

"Aren"t you going to yell at me, or kill me, or accuse me of something?" She starts to sound dreary. "That's really all that has happened for me today, maybe I can break a record."

oh calm down, I'm just a raging pessimist who's learned to trust that particular part of him because it's saved him from death or worse about fifty or sixty times....I'm done with the accusations and the threats and the violence, right now..
** Leo lets his head hit her floor with a dull thunk as he suddenly looks incredibly tired **
I just need to sleep, I haven't slept in almost a week.

Leila sighs, and picks up Leo, transporting him onto her bed. She looks at her watch.

Ori opens her eyes, not knowing where she is. She remembers something about Caleb... Leaving him, and walking home... Meeting some strange people on the way home....
((No clue what happened.))

** Leo lands on the bed with a soft thump and lays there, almost completely awake, looking upset at the fact that he can't sleep **
-- god damnit.....I can't sleep...I wish I could do what I usually do to tire myself out but I can't run with my legs still shut down...--
** Caleb shuts the door to his house after a little while outside, barely remembering much of what happened aside from Ori, a rooftop, a kiss, and lots of moonlight, then sunlight. **

Noon... she realizes, It's noon. I need to sleep and it's noon.

Ori checks most of herself for any unnoticed injury. It is not easy, even with her ability to see, and it takea a long time.

** Leo mutters to himself **
Damnit..even after barely escaping the maws of death I STILL can't sleep...
**Caleb lays down and falls asleep **
