The vines on his legs let go of him. "I didn't want you to run away while I was talking to you... It's not good manners..."
Ori interjects. "But holding someone against their will is bad too... And the other nice guy is a humam, named Caleb."

** Leo rubs his leg **
did he happen to be ya tall? *describes his height* wearing a black, hooded jacket, and have scary-looking leather bracers on his wrist with retractable blades attached to the underside in a complex-looking mechanism that triggered when he holds his hands like this? *holds his hands how Caleb did with his blades* and did his eyes flash gold at you...?

Ori nods.

** Leo nods **
okay, two things.
one, I met him earlier and he told me about you AFTER I met you.
two, when his eyes flashed, did he mention something about you being *airquotes* "blue" ? (he did)

((Spent a minute looking for that))
Ori nods again. "I believe it had something to do with trust."

** Leo nods again, giving a false grimace (which is easy for him since that's one of his natural faces) **
That....or he's marked you for death, I've hear tale of a clan of assassins who have a special trait where their eyes glow gold when they spot a potential target....but, if he's marked you as blue, you're probably safe...as long as you don't turn gold or red on him.

Blade holds Ori tighter. "I will not make the mistake of letting her get hurt "
Blade looks at Ori, who asks him, "Can you put me down now?"
Blade does as dhe asks.

** Leo holds up his hands to about chest height, keeping a perfect balance on the tree **
hey, I'm just sayin', he's bound to have a lot of talent in the killing department, so I'd try to not make him mad.

Blade begins to look annoyed. "Stop that..."

Alright, fine, I'll go then if it makes you feel better....

Blade sighs. "I think I'll leave as well... I'll go on a useless quest to bring Emmy back from the non-existant."
Ori turns around, startinf off toward her treehome. "I can only assume that you are both so strange because of your gender."

no, sometimes men think alike, just like women do.
** waves lazily **
Tornado.
** disappears in another whirlwind **

Blade walks off.

** Caleb sprints across the rooftops, leaping from roof-to-roof effortlessly **
--I think I've got the lay of the city now... so, I should start looking for work..--

Ori sighs, and sits down. "Now that I think about it, these people are very extreme.... I have only gotten love, hate, fear, and other powerful emotions so far..."

** Caleb continues to move across rooftops, thinking of people who might be interested in his work **

Ori gets back up, and esumes walkong home, with no rush at all.

** Caleb continues to think, still running. **

Ori stops a couple feet from her tree, and turns around. She walks toward a city.

** Caleb continues his run and stops for a drink of water from a bottle clipped to his belt **

Ori watches a man run from a building.

** Caleb leaps across the rooftops, going home for the day after practicing for a while **

She watches the man reach for something in a holster. The man points a revolver at her head, motioning for her to back into thw forest. She does as he asks.

** Caleb spots the man on his way home **
-- great...an assassin, looks like I have to be the good guy...--
** Caleb leaps across the rooftops and sneaks up behind the man, his left blade quickly appearing as he puts the man in a chokehold and slits his throat **

Ori backs away from Caleb and the man's corpse, full of fear and confusion.
